Hello and thank you for visiting! My name is Emerald and I am a world-traveling elementary school teacher turned world-traveling homeschool mom. I have always loved exploring and learning about new cultures. I also saw how the more I learned about the world and its beautiful people, the more I became accepting and understanding. I wanted to share these same understandings with others, especially the young learners I worked with.
As I started trying to teach young learners, I saw how exposure to diverse perspectives fosters empathy and understanding. I wanted to give more students these amazing opportunities to explore the world. That is why I started JetSetScholars.org - to make that exposure more accessible to everyone.
